🍄 Fungus Among Us ~ A Mushroom Foraging Mini-Camp for Kids!

August 25-28 • 9am–12pm • Ages 6–16 - 4 mornings of forest magic, mushroom hunting, and nature connection!

Join us for a special summer minicamp focused on the fascinating world of wild mushrooms! Each day, we’ll explore a different forest trail around Flagstaff in search of vibrant and delicious mushrooms like Lobster Mushrooms, Caesar Amanitas, and King Boletes. Through hands-on foraging, forest games, and earthy storytelling, kids will deepen their relationship with the land while learning how to respectfully and safely harvest these amazing fungi.

This is a drop-off program. If your children are 7 or under and need your presence, you may join us for free. If you or another parent/ guardian are wanting to join the fun and learn about plants and herbs, you may join for half-price!

Camp Details:

🗓 August 25-28 (Monday–Thursday)

🕘 9am–12pm each day

💰$125 per child | $110 sibling rate | $25 off early bird discount if registered by July 1st | $35 single day drop in rate

🧺 We’ll visit 4 different trails around Flagstaff

👧🏽 Open to children ages 6–16 (with flexibility!)

🍄 Focus on *safely* identifying and harvesting wild mushrooms

🧠 Learn respectful foraging practices, mushroom safety, and forest ecology

🎨 Nature crafts, mushroom lore, and community connection
